Am I required to book Honeybee?
The Schnepf and Honeybee partnership began on February 4, 2025. If you booked after this date, I’m so excited to be creating your wedding desserts! If you booked before February 4, you’re not required to use Honeybee, but you’re still welcome to enjoy the full Schnepf/Honeybee menu and pricing.

Do you offer vegan, gluten-free or dairy-free options?
Absolutely! We offer dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan cake options. Please note that dairy-free buttercream doesn’t harden in the same way as traditional buttercream, so it may not provide the necessary structure for tiered cakes. If you and your fiancé require special dietary accommodations, but would like your guests to enjoy traditional dairy or gluten products, you can simply add a small cutting cake with your specific preferences. If you prefer for all of your guests to enjoy a dairy-free buttercream, selecting a small cutting cake with sheet cakes is the best option! Please note that while we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, your cake is created in a bakery that produces wheat and dairy products, and cross-contamination is possible.

What is the payment structure for your packages?
A retainer is due upon signing the contract to secure your date. Depending on the package you choose, the remaining balance will be split up throughout the planning process as you choose with the final balance due one month before the wedding day. 

Do I need to complete my tasting before booking?
Not at all! Many couples already have a clear vision for their desserts before the tasting. We can secure your booking as soon as you’ve decided on the direction you’d like to take. The flavor selection can be left blank, and I’ll update it after the tasting. This streamlines the booking process, and I can recommend specific items to try based on what you've booked. If you decide to upgrade your selection after the tasting, any deposit paid will simply be applied toward the new balance.
